All of the entries were wonderful and we loved seeing all your talent shine through! It is so much fun to see what creations come from using our sketch as inspiration.
Remember you can create anything, a card, tag, scrap page, box, gift bag, just as long as the sketch is your inspiration and recognizable.

For this week's showcase card from the entries we received last week, I selected this beauty from Jen Leeflang. I thought all the greens she used were put together in such a great way that worked so well to make a gorgeous card. Congrats, Jen, for being showcased and be sure to pick up the badge!

Here is our sketch for this week!

And now for some inspiration cards from our DT!
What a great wedding card!! Love those happy bears and the soft look of the purple.

A fabulous birthday card! It's so cheerful, has party balloons, and a happy birthday girl!
What more could "ewe" ask for???

Such a fun card using Make It Crafty's Girls Flying Kite and Happy Birthday sentiment. Just so adorably cute!

Beautiful Poppy image by Make It Crafty makes a gorgeous Thank You card!!

I've always loved cherry blossoms and was so excited to use Make It Crafty's Cherry Blossom image.

Thank you for looking at our cards and we hope that you found some inspiration to take part in the Sketch Challenge!!

#Twinkle fairy

There is another challenge on the Make it Crafty Facebook Fanpage!!!
You can grab a freebie image and you have to make a card with it, and post it on the Facebook page :D
I just finished my entry for this, that image is soooo cute!!

I think it is very hard to take a good picture with a easel card!!
Colored the image with Copics and added some embossingpowder here and there, also on the hair, unfortunately that is not visible on the photo's!!
I bought a new die yesterday, I needed a Christmas die, LOL, it's from Joy crafts.

Clean & Simple Challenge | Masking, part 2

My second card for the Make it Crafty Cas challenge.
This month our focus is on masking. Whether you use a mask to create a scene of characters and objects, create a fancy background or use a mask to stamp a portion of an image.

Also with that cute image Shellina.

Tthis image was colored with watercolor pencils.
I made a mask for the image, with tracingpaper and put it on the colored image.
I took some left over waves, cut with Cameo and put them over the masked image.
With Distress inks I inked the background.
 This was the result.
I added some stickles on her tail for some shine.
Finished card!!

Clean & Simple Challenge | Masking, part one

There is another CAS challenge at Make it Crafty.
Theme: "This month our focus is on masking. Whether you use a mask to create a scene of characters and objects, create a fancy background or use a mask to stamp a portion of an image".

Now, we got a very cute freebie in the Make it Crafty FB group,( join us if you're not a member yet!!) so I used this image for the CAS challenge.
I made some photo's, not great quality, cause I made them on my phone.

First, I colored the image with Twinkling H2O and some watercolor paint for the skin.
I added some drops of masking liquid to make some water bubbles, and let it dry for a while.
I took my Metallic PanPastels and colored the background, added some blue PanPastel too.
I removed the drops of maks liquid by rubbing it of with my finger, goes very easily without destroying your paper ( watercolorpaper, it doesn't work with copicspaper!)
Then I added som Glossy accents on the white "bubbles".
The final card, on a punched background.
